With his company "Acromax", which is a collaborator and partner with many of the important "online" networks, he attacks the media for the interests of the clientele by claiming copyright. This attack on CNA has been strongly condemned by politics, but also by the Albanian Media Council.

In an interview for CNA TV, the head of the Albanian Media Council, Koloreto Cukali, denounced a few days ago that "Acromax" has "targeted" the media several times, to censor reports that conflict with political interests. ( Read here )

"This is the old story with 'Acromax', which in the name of copyright protection, de facto censors different media at certain times, in relation to certain news. The problem lies in those political parties who have made contracts for the protection of copyright. I don't understand, what can a political party stand for? A political party is public property, it relies on public money. Every statement of the prime minister, every statement of a mayor or party leader. One of the reasons constantly given for censorship on YouTube is because it is a television image. No! When the prime minister makes a public statement, despite the fact that he makes it in a private entity, that statement is public", he said on June 11.

Cukali emphasized that Aldor Nini has wrongfully blocked CNA's news and has acted as a pure censorship tool in the service of the clientele. ( Read here )

"I was very impressed. You made a news story about something said on a television station without cutting any video from that program. This is news, there is no copyright infringement. De facto, it has acted purely as a tool of censorship and the suspicion goes that it has gone to the service of the people who were affected by that news", emphasized the chairman of the Albanian Media Council.

"Censorship is related to the fact that the truth you give hurts the mayor and the Prime Minister. If there is a media that is one of the first with facts and evidence that has denounced the incinerators and recently the affair of the '5D' company, it is CNA and for this news there can never be a block through 'Acromax', all the more, as I said, any agreement made with a public institution is the obligation of this public institution to become transparent. We want to know that what is the agreement, when copyright is violated by the publication of news or various denunciations", she said.

Even the activity of 'Acromax' is very suspicious, it has been criticized by 'Reporters without Borders'. It has blocked the activity of many media that are critical of the government, as is the case of CNA. Its attacks are not just blocking, but also filtering instead, to censor the media and free speech. I claim that all the media that are hit by 'Acromax', start court cases against this company. I think it should be held accountable as a company that hides its income in Albania, but also that carries out such a censorship war denounced by the institutions that protect the work of journalists and the freedom of journalists", he said.

The vice-president of the DP, Luciano Boçi, emphasized, among other things, that for years the opposition has opposed the way of functioning of "Acromax" even in the Media Commission.
