This year's edition of the Gjon Mili International Video Art Festival will take place on June 27–29, 2026 at the Producers Club Theaters in Manhattan, with the motto "Are You Dreaming?".

For three consecutive evenings, the public will have the opportunity to watch short films, documentaries, video art and animated films by authors from different countries around the world, such as Australia, Italy, France, Germany, Brazil, the United States, Canada, Taiwan, Monaco, Slovakia and Albania.

The first evening, on June 27, opens with a diverse program featuring the documentary "Haus Tumbuna", the video art "Kingdom of Animals" and finally the Canadian documentary "Violence Solves Everything".

On June 28, the festival continues with another international program, while at 8:30 PM, the documentary "Dezo Hoffmann – Photographer of the Beatles" will be screened, dedicated to the famous photographer of the legendary band The Beatles.

The last day, June 29, is largely dedicated to Albanian creativity. The films "The Champ" by Ermir Keta, "Antimuzeu" by Renis Hyka, "SOS" by Anita Morina, and the short documentary "Kecka" by Fatjet Bajrami will be screened.

Afterwards, the audience will have the opportunity to watch the restored version of the classic Albanian film "Kapedani" (1972), directed by Muharrem Fejzo and Fehmi Hoshafi.

The organizers invite participants, in addition to the festival activities, to take advantage of their stay in New York to visit the city's museums, galleries, historic neighborhoods, and cultural centers, turning the festival into a broader artistic and cultural experience. /CNA
