CNA has uncovered the tentacles of the head of the Supreme Court, Sokol Sadushi, in the diplomatic system.

Evi Sadushi, the daughter of Sokol Sadushi, the man who climbed out the window and entered the door without passing the vetting filter in the justice system, has held an important position in the diplomatic system for 7 years.

Evi Sadushi, by agreement of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, with the State Attorney General, has exercised the function of lawyer at the Permanent Mission of Albania to the Council of Europe as a representative at the European Court of Human Rights for the period 2016-2019.

Likewise, in 2019, Evi Sadushi was appointed Second Secretary at the Albanian Embassy in Madrid, while since 2021 she has held the position of First Secretary at the Albanian Embassy in Madrid.

CNA has put Evi Sadushi's assets under the scanner, which is not small. According to the declarations in the ILDKPI, it concerns endless bank accounts, bank deposits, income from salaries, properties, bonds, rent payments from institutions, etc.

Like her father, Sokol Sadushi, his daughter, Evi Sadushi, also owns numerous properties, apartments, and garages.

According to data from ILDKPI, Evi Sadushi owns shares in a 39 m² garage, in a 86.5 m² service unit, and in apartments with areas: 111 m², 62 m², 90 m², 63 m², and 89 m².

2014

In December 2014, the following accounts and deposits appear in the name of Evi Sadushi, whose main source is the inheritance from her grandmother:

"Invoice" account at the bank: With a balance of $3,569 (as of 18.12.2014).

Bank deposit: In the amount of 11,676 euros (from grandmother's inheritance).

Deposit in euros in the bank: In the amount of 5,522 euros (from grandmother's inheritance).

Current account at the bank: In the amount of 205,229 lek (from grandmother's inheritance).

2016

Suspicious bank deposit (in joint ownership): There is a bank deposit in the joint name with Kejdi Sadushaj with a balance of 23,786 euros on 30.12.2016, with a 50% taxable share, benefiting from the grandmother's inheritance (according to the inheritance certificate dated 31.03.2011).

Sale of apartment in Vlora: According to the grandmother's inheritance certificate, Evi and Kejdi Sadushaj have acquired and registered a 55.1 m² apartment in Vlora (50% taxable share). This apartment was sold with reserve on 29.12.2016 for 20,000 euros. The amount of 10,000 euros was liquidated on 27.12.2016 through a bank account in the name of Evi Sadushaj, while the remaining part was left to be liquidated until 15.03.2017.

Current account in euros: The balance on 30.12.2016 was 10,008 euros (with 100% taxable portion), with the source from the aforementioned purchase and sale contract with reserve.

Other accounts (from grandmother's inheritance): Account with a balance of 122,322.81 lek and account with 5,523 euros (100% share).

USD bank account: Account opened since August 2002 (originally with 1,000 USD), with a balance of 3,575.57 USD on 29.12.2016 (100% share).

Account abroad: Current salary account in Strasbourg, France, with a balance of 576.04 euros on 29.12.2016 (100% share).

Salary income for the period 21.06.2016-19.07.2016 as a lawyer at the permanent mission of the Republic of Albania to the Council of Europe as a representative at the European Court of Human Rights ----- 60,874 lekë.

Salary income for the period 20.07.2016-31.12.2016 as a lawyer at the permanent mission of the Republic of Albania to the Council of Europe as a representative at the European Court of Human Rights ---- 5,175 euros.

2017

Registration of assets from the business contract (Mother's inheritance): On 07.05.2017, from a previously declared business contract (for the construction of a palace on a 285 m² plot of land and a 90 m² house in Vlora acquired from the mother's inheritance), the following assets were registered in the Vlora ZVRPP in the name of Sokol, Evi and Kejdi Sadushi (with a 33.3% share each):

Garage 39 m².

Service unit 86.5 m².

Apartments with areas: 111 m², 62 m², 90 m², 63 m², and 89 m².

Sale of an 89 m² apartment: The 89 m² apartment in Vlora was sold on 04.07.2017 for 45,000 euros. Evi's taxable share was 15,000 euros (1/3 or 33.3%). The amount of 30,000 euros (Evi and his brother/Kajdi's share) was initially transferred to Evi's current account and in August 2017 transferred to a deposit with two names.

Division and opening of a new deposit: The initial deposit of 23,786 euros (in joint name with her brother) was increased by 50,000 euros from the sale of apartments during 2017, bringing the total to 73,786 euros. On 04.08.2017, Evi's share (1/2) was divided and she opened a deposit in her name in the amount of 36,957.14 euros (100% share).

Purchase of bonds: From the above deposit of 36,957 euros, the amount of 30,000 euros was transferred on 30.10.2017 to a securities contract (bonds convertible into shares) with the bank, with a term of 7 years (3 bonds with interest of 4% per annum). The remaining balance in the account on 31.12.2017 was 6,957.14 euros.

Lek account with a balance of 23,726.51 lek (reduced to 98,596.3 lek) and an account with a value of 5,530.14 euros.

USD account ("futura" account) with an unchanged balance of USD 3,578.80.

Salary current account in Strasbourg, France, with a balance of 1,231.93 euros on 31.12.2017.

Salary income for the period 01.01.2017 as a lawyer at the permanent mission of the Republic of Albania to the Council of Europe as a representative at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg --- 12,168 euros.

2018

Bonds: The 7-year bond contract of 30,000 euros has only increased by interest in the amount of 920 euros.

Bank accounts as of 31.12.2018:

The euro account has a remaining balance of 6,957.14 euros.

The grandmother's inheritance account has a balance of 17,026.51 lek (reduced by 6,700 lek) and 5,530.62 euros.

The expenses for renting the house in Strasbourg for 2018, paid from the State Attorney's Office account at Societe Generale Strasbourg France, amount to 10,800 euros.

2019

Bonds: The bond contract (30,000 euros) is increased by interest of 1,830 euros.

Euro account: Remains unchanged at 6,957.14 euros as of 31.12.2019.

Closing old accounts:

On 28.06.2019, the grandmother's inheritance accounts, which had a balance of 16,126.51 lek and 5,499.64 euros, were closed. These amounts were withdrawn and transferred to the salary account in euros in Madrid.

In August 2019, the current account in lek (opened for the salary as a lawyer at the State Attorney General's Office) was closed, from which the remaining amount of 78,438.12 lek was withdrawn.

In May 2019, the account in Strasbourg (salary at the Albanian mission to the Council of Europe / ECHR) was closed, withdrawing the balance of 2,314 euros in cash.

Opening a new account abroad: After being appointed as second secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Madrid, an account is opened with 5,000 euros added (withdrawn from Tirana). The balance on 31.12.2019 was 5,170.25 euros.

Income from salary as a lawyer at the permanent mission of the Republic of Albania to the Council of Europe as a representative at the ECHR Strasbourg for the period 01.01.2019-30.04.2019 in the total amount of 4120 euros.

Income from salary as a lawyer at the State Attorney General's Office for the period May-July 2019, total amount 227,900 lek.

Income received from the State Attorney General's Office as the value of the monthly rent of the residential apartment in Strasbourg for the period January 2019-May 2019 in the amount of 4,500 euros and paid in favor of the landlord through the bank (Strasbourg, France).

Income from salary, gross amount 5,580 euros and net 4,309 euros as second secretary at the Albanian embassy in Madrid, Spain, for the period 15.08.2019-31.12.2019.

From the account of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the amount of 1200 euros per month was paid in favor of the landlord for the period 14.08.2019-31.12.2019 as the rent for the residential apartment in Madrid, Spain. Paid for this period, a total amount of 6000 euros.

2020

Bonds: The 7-year contract remains at the base value of 30,000 euros, increased only by the annual interest of 929.83 euros (taxable portion 100%).

Bank account (Euro): The balance remains unchanged at 6,957.14 euros.

Salary account in Madrid, Spain: The balance on 31.12.2020 reached 6,187.25 euros, increasing by the amount of 1,017 euros (taxable portion 100%).

Salary as Second Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Madrid, Spain, for the entire year 2020: Gross 14,880 euros / Net 11,376 euros.

Rental coverage in Madrid for the period 01.01.2020 – 31.12.2020 from the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs: 14,400 euros (1,200 euros per month).
