A case reported by two animal protection associations has brought to light the latest, but not the only, case of human "terrorism" against animals.

According to "Animal Guardian Albania" and "ARSA", the incident occurred in the Astir area, at "Ozone," where a dog, lovingly accepted by residents, was barbarically executed after injuring a child.

The poor animal's executioners were the parents of the injured child, who, together with other friends, had taken the life of the poor dog, who in further impatience used his animal instinct, biting, to defend himself. What the two online pages of animal protection NGOs denounced was also confirmed by the residents of the area, for whom the poor dog was a long-time resident of the area.

He fed on them, did not bother, and even more so, did not attack anyone. He was so wise that he ate bread with cats, say the residents of the area (a rare thing in dog-cat relationships). The injured child, along with other friends, had been harassing the dog with consistent attacks for a long time. Even at the moment of the animal's aggressive return, the child was continuing the harassment, which is worth noting that he cracked the dog's lip, forcing it to use aggression.

After this act, certainly unpopular, the child's parents killed the dog, even though his guilt stemmed from their child's lack of education in relation to animals, which in fact makes them themselves guilty, that is, the parents, who, while finding the shortest path to revenge, killing the poor dog, did not even consider educating the "troublesome" child with love for animals.

Because it is precisely the lack of this education that turns children (but not only) into "terrorists" of abandoned domestic animals, mainly cats and dogs.

The killing of the dog of “Ozone” confirms this criminal human behavior towards animals, being a fact of the non-destruction of the balance by the state institutions of the implementation of the penal law. Because the law for the protection of animals, even birds, exists. It is considered of contemporary standard. What does not exist is the lack of its enforcers, the investigation of cases of terrorism against animals, finding the culprits and punishing them.

Neglect , the impunity of the guilty, of the cases, stimulates terrorism against poor street animals, makes it an unstoppable phenomenon. If involvement in legal reaction and punishment were present, then parents would not be concerned with killing peaceful abandoned animals, but with educating their children with the love of dogs, cats and other animals beyond them.

We recall that a few months ago, the association "Animal Rescue Albania" denounced a mass grave of dogs, in the area of ??Lanabregas, Daj, where 11 of the dog corpses were frozen. The association in question suspected that the massacre was the work of the veterinary clinic of the Municipality of Tirana, the Consumer Protection Agency, without having the strength to do more than that.

That the Municipality of the capital is notorious for the massacre of stray dogs is proven by the facts when years ago it began the macabre hunt of killing them at night. The couples' ba-booms are no longer felt, but the application of some other means of extermination against the poor animals, so much hated by the officials of the 'Patronageist Youth Republic' of the 'Veliaj' Municipality, is not ruled out./CNA
