For days now, businesses in Albania have been facing a dangerous form of cyber "terrorism". The State Police identified a suspected and coordinated activity in cyberspace where over 10 thousand accounts were massively publishing negative comments and ratings to damage the reputation of Albanian businesses.

The names of some of the people in this group were made public, including journalists who were declared winners and proud to be among those who hit the rankings of Albanian businesses in the world arena.

We called them "terrorists" because with that act they not only damaged a certain business or the image of Albania, but also caused costs and the consequences went to Albanian citizens, since the large businesses that reported have thousands of employees, who are harmed if that business goes bankrupt, if that business has less work from negative "reviews".

Terror on business

Because of this, there will be fewer customers, less income, and then the consequences will be catastrophic as business owners will have to cut salaries, lay off people, and make structural changes.

In fact, these social media "terrorists" do not target one or two owners or those they call oligarchs, but rather target thousands and thousands of employees, professionals, leaders, managers, and simple specialists.

And then they come out, release videos, some who look like they're on drugs, some who look like they're crazy, announcing the "big victory" that they've hit the business with negative "reviews" on social media. Self-aware "terrorists".

As reported, these terrorist acts they have committed have had consequences for many businesses, beyond the consequences brought by the protests, which may have affected the development of tourism. Businesses have seen their turnover drop due to negative "reviews". It is now the responsibility of these businesses to bring the "terrorists" of the negative "reviews" to justice.

They cannot stop with the return of the "reviews", but must go and take them to court and demand the economic damage caused.

They are proven by name, voice and image, that they make such calls that bring consequences against business. Every economic cost they have caused must be paid by someone. There is no difference between the "terrorists" of social networks with attacks with negative "reviews" against businesses and the media fines or state thieves. They are the same.

Moreover, they cause more harm than thieves and government corruption, because "reviews" exceed limits./ CNA
