In the 40s of protest!

The right to protest is one of the fundamental pillars of democracy, and Albania today has a democracy that is confidently moving forward on the path towards the EU faster and more securely than ever.

Protests are a strong exercise and test, responsibility and citizenship, it serves not only the voice of citizens, but also the improvement of governance and the Europeanization of our culture in so many years of transition.

A strong European democracy listens, reflects, and improves by reacting with concrete acts and strong decisions, which the Rama government has never lacked.

The recent protest has highlighted a political action, a mix, from ordinary citizens who gave a lesson in democracy with a European face, to the political minorities who gathered there, and to go further to the KÇK. The protest has brought together the minorities of political minorities, groups of parties that, mixed into one, do not constitute a political majority. This is not a perception. The result of the 2025 elections clearly showed that these forces failed to gain the support of the majority of citizens.

In a democracy, protest is a right and a means of expressing discontent. But to produce political change, it must represent a broad citizen base through the vote.

The protest turned into an arena where small parties, such as neo-Marxists, pseudo-capitalists, or fascist faces, sought to strengthen their political profile.

What unites the populist capitalist Agron Shehaj with the Marxist face of Arlind Qorri or with the activist Adriatik Lapaj, the latter with his coalition produced a female MP and an electoral political comedy.

The protest began with high public curiosity. The format seemed to be flamingo-like, there were manipulations, abuses, lies and created interest and raised expectations that it would bring a new political spirit. But who could do this? The three minorities of minorities came from Saliu's party as much as products of leftists angry at Rama's European path...

In these 40s, not everything changed along the way.

That no one still explains what unites a Hoxha with a member of the LGBTQ community, or a neo-Marxist communist with a capitalist or fascist extremist?

The protest was identified with flamingos, but now it has the symbol of the coffin of the Albanian political elite who want chaos and disorder, not the rule of law and Albania in the EU.

Coffins are the political language of protest of political minorities who, along with Saliu, can never become the majority of Albanians and citizens who protest, unlike those who want to replace the empty ballot box in elections with coffins.

Gen Z, young people tend to respond to authentic messages, creative formats, and ideas that speak to the future. When protest relies primarily on grim symbols and manipulative rhetoric, it loses the very audience that awakened citizenship.

The same march, the same hour, and the same slogans for weeks on end by individuals who have hijacked the citizen voice, creating conflicts and violence, conveying coffin messages, do not create fatigue but show that minorities of minorities have only one way to impose themselves with coffin messages, violence on social networks, or the selfishness of the unfulfilled who think like leaders.

This is not the path to the EU, this is the violence of the minority of political minorities in Albania who cannot grow up with European culture.

The protest is counting the days, but not the troubles of the citizens, they are leaving because they know how to choose, between the path to Europe and the path of coffins. They know how to choose Albania's path towards the NATO Summit in Tirana in 2027, towards the closing of chapters in 2027 and Albania in the EU, why not before the 2029 elections.

The protest began as a step towards the EU, it turned from a minority of minorities into a symbol of coffins, but the path towards the EU does not stop and we will all do this together with a European vision beyond the coffins of old politics and alliances that start from neo-Marxists and end with fascists.

Albania in the EU is our path, the 40s of protest are the path of the Salinians...
