Caught with 4 kilograms of cocaine/ How did the Albanian "surprise"

Around four kilograms of cocaine were seized during a routine check on the A7 motorway, near Dietmannsried in Germany, on Sunday evening by German authorities.

According to the South/West Swabia Police, at around 9:30 p.m., officers from the Pfronten Border Police Inspectorate stopped a vehicle with Italian license plates in a southbound parking lot. A 29-year-old Albanian citizen was driving the vehicle.

During the search, police discovered several packages of cocaine hidden in a specially constructed compartment inside the vehicle for smuggling. In addition to the drugs, authorities also seized a three-figure sum of money. The vehicle, the narcotics, and the money were confiscated as evidence.

According to Merkur.de , the 29-year-old was arrested at the scene. On Monday, he appeared in court at the request of the Kempten Public Prosecutor's Office, where the judge issued an arrest warrant and ordered his detention.

The first investigative actions were carried out by the Pfronten Border Police Inspectorate and the Criminal Investigation Department in Memmingen, while further investigations are being conducted by the specialized unit of the Kempten Criminal Police, under the direction of the Kempten Prosecutor's Office./ CNA
