Failure in educating young people, an invitation for public debate!

Failure in educating young people, an invitation for public debate!

I wrote about a case of violence, where two girls beat up a friend of theirs because she had kissed one of their boyfriends, and a third girl filmed the scene.

The video that was posted online yesterday was shocking!

I don't want to generalize the problem, but it is so big and serious that we should not remain silent.

I read almost all the comments on my post. But those of two teachers stuck in my mind:

-"The teenage environment is filled with acts of violence. But the public only learns and reacts when they see such videos or when violence produces victims."

-"This society, after mocking teachers, professionals in all fields, adopted wrong models, and here it is. The fault of misinformation, youth policies, an unemancipated society, ignorance, etc."

This is not the only case. In fact, there are so many that they would alarm the wise minds of any society.

Where can we look for responsibility and change of course?

I think:

First, to the family:

Children don't just need food, clothing and the latest mobile phone. The girls in the video, who appeared in a photo on social media with swollen lips and one with a "Kalashnikov" tattoo, are only 14-15 years old. The boy kills or rapes his peer and the family tries to find "mechanisms" to mitigate the accusation.

Control your children, because you will make them criminals with your own hands!

Secondly, the school:

The educational dimension of the school has been destroyed. These types of students, teenage girls with puffy lips and boys with screwdrivers in their bags, are a terror even for the teacher. "I can't wait to retire - a teacher in a Tirana school told me - the work is over, just keeping the class quiet so they don't fight because they're making videos. The students are done, eating."

The school ran after children's rights and forgot about their obligations.

The cooperation of parents with the school has been reduced to just one sentence: "No man, mother, will touch my child." Meanwhile, even raising your voice is considered psychological violence.

Thirdly, the government:

You might say, what does the government have to do with teenagers fighting and arguing?

Yes, there is!

The government's job is not just to build roads, schools, and buildings. Good governance also thinks about the social dimension of society.

Investments must be made to enable children's education. Recreation centers in every neighborhood, where children can engage in their time outside of school, play sports, and exercise their talents and skills in various fields. Public environments, parks, etc.

Alarm bells should be ringing for the generations we are raising. It's not about academic level, but many of them are growing up dangerously.

Can you imagine: Three underage girls take their friend hostage and rape her in front of the camera because she kissed her boyfriend. Violence is not enough, but they will also discredit her publicly.

God, hold my hand!
