On May 26, Aldor Nini would meet the girl according to the agenda set by the Tirana Court. That day, the minor's mother, Mrs. Anxhela Faber, was abroad and asked her sister, Dea Kasa, to take the girl. The latter called Aldor Nini, but did not receive any response from him. Thus, Dea Kasa together with the nanny Luljeta Velaj went to the 40-year-old's house where they found him in the vehicle with the minor.

Dea took the girl in her arms, but Aldor Nini got out of the car, pulling the minor by the hands and quickly putting her in the car. Then she called the police and immediately went to Aldor Nini's apartment. He also informed the mother, Anxhela Faber, who immediately called her former cohabitant where she asked him to give her daughter to her sister, but he refused. After that, Angela notified her lawyer to take the girl, but Nini refused again.
