How Lulzim Basha is lying to the democrats/ His betrayals and lost causes

After deceiving and dragging the democrats for 8 years, after losing every battle and abandoning every cause, the former chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, is already trying to continue with his ?deeds?.

While in 8 years caused catastrophic losses and divided the democrats, Basha has started meetings at the base, in closed halls and with very few people present. Basha had recently a meeting in Mirdita, whereas seen in the photo below, it seems he has ?allergies? to the squares, as he always has meetings indoors or in cafes.

One of those who follow Lulzim Basha, has published a photo from the meeting in Mirdita, while writes that Basha had the goal of uniting the democrats. But where was Lulzim Basha these last 8 years? Was not he the chairman of the Democratic Party since 2013?

Moreover, he betrayed and abandoned any cause of the democrats, ?giving? to the Prime Minister Edi Rama 3 governing mandates, and leaving for the first time in 30 years of democracy the DP in 3 mandates in opposition.

Basha?s first betrayal is the 2017 protests. On February 18, 2017, Lulzim Basha, introduced the democrats in a Tent built in front of the Prime Minister?s building. So he decided to hide in the Tent, demanding the departure of the current government, and the creation of a technical government, which according to him would lead the country to free and fair elections.

Lulzim Basha declared at the time that he would not withdraw from the protests until the declared cause was fulfilled. But on May 17, 2017, after an agreement with Edi Rama, the details of which were never made public, Lulzim Basha took half of the government, entered the elections with an embarrassing list, and caused to the democrats a catastrophic loss.

And ?accidentally? Lulzim Basha’s father-in-law received 16 million euros as compensation for the demolition of a palace built on the Ionian coast in Vlora. But after two years, he remembered that ?elections were stolen?, and left parliament. After a protest in February 2019, Lulzim Basha declared the burning of the mandates of the deputies, leaving the democrats unrepresented in the parliament.

The next betrayal was the boycott of the local elections of June 30, 2019. Again the democrats were betrayed, and gave to Edi Rama 61 municipalities at the table. But these aren?t the only betrayals of Basha to the democrats in 8 eight years.

Another betrayal is the cause against the oligarchs or the accusations that Basha made against Rama for corruption. This because the man who talks about the capture of the government by the oligarchs, seems to ?sleep? with the oligarchs.

And this is shown by the villas he received from the oligarchs, or the payments of the latter to the companies of Lulzim Basha?s brother-in-law. On the other hand, Lulzim Basha betrayed the boys of Kukës, in the protest against the establishment of a toll crossing on Rruga e Kombit.

He also betrayed students in the battle against the Law on Higher Education. He said he would take that this law to the Constitutional Court, but he never did. He also betrayed the artists, to whom he promised that the National Theater would collapse only if bulldozers passed over his body.

But, the Theater collapsed while Basha slept peacefully in his house. Betrayed the inhabitants of the New Ring in Tirana. Again he promised that the demolition of the houses would happen only when the ?diggers passed over his body?. In fact the houses collapsed and nothing happened.

Lulzim Basha?s betrayals are endless. They started on May 17, 2017, when he sold to Edi Rama the protests of the Tent, the resistance and the spirit of the democrats, and continued even today, when he is trying to lie to the democrats that he allegedly wants the unification of the party. When in fact in 8 years he led the DP he just divided and destroyed it./CNA.al
