CNA has been reporting for a long time about the mass dismissals, resignations of directors and abuses in the Albanian Radio Television, with the arrival of Alfred Peza at its head.

The latter has made fictitious competitions and changed the staff of RTSH, throwing dozens of employees, who had a long career in state television, out of the way.

CNA has secured other documents that reveal Alfred Peza's abuses and fictitious contests.

A few days after Peza took over the leadership of RTSH in June 2023, he made several dismissals and several directors resigned. Thus, he opened the vacancy for several positions, including the position of the Legal Director.

In the announcement of the Albanian Radio and Television, it is stated that the applications of the candidates for the position of Legal Director should be submitted on July 14, 2023.

However, this announcement was just a formality, since Peza had actually found the director, he had appointed Enkelejd Lamaj to this post.

In the following two documents, provided by CNA, it is confirmed that Lamaj was appointed before the deadline for submission of candidacies.

On July 7, 2023, a week before the deadline, in an order for the establishment of a verification group, it is stated that Lamaj is the Legal Director.

Also, in the second document dated July 14, Alfred Peza signed an order charging the legal director, Enkelejd Lamaj with the duties of the General Director of RTSH.

So, Enkelejd Lamaj was appointed to the vacant post before the deadline for submission of candidacies closed.

The above documents once again confirm the fictitious competitions of Alfred Peza.

CNA learns that Peza followed this practice on other occasions during the months of August, September, October and the following.
