Drug trafficking and criminal organization/ Two internationally wanted suspects

Two internationally wanted persons have been arrested in Durrës following the finalization of the operation codenamed "Implication".

Enkelet Avduli, 46 years old, who was caught while driving on the Rrogozhinë-Peqi road, has been arrested after the Court of Appeal of Bologna, Italy, sentenced him to 7 years, 5 months and 9 days in prison for drug trafficking, illegal possession of weapons and intimidation.

The other arrested person is citizen SK, 38 years old, who was captured in the village of Sukth i Ri, after the judicial authorities in Madrid assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the offenses "Trafficking in narcotics" and "Participation in a criminal organization", with the aim of trafficking narcotics.

Their extradition to Spain and Italy is expected.

DVP Durrës/The operation codenamed "Implication" is finalized, for the capture of 2 internationally wanted citizens.

The 2 detainees, wanted by Italy and Spain, for drug trafficking/dealing, participation in a criminal organization, illegal possession of weapons and intimidation.

As a result of the coordination of information and operational actions, with international partners in Italy and Spain, with the objective of locating and capturing 2 citizens internationally wanted for several criminal offenses, specialists of the Operational Investigation Support Section, in cooperation with the services of the Shijak and Kavaja Police Stations, finalized the operation codenamed "Implication".

As part of the operation, the following citizens were provisionally arrested for extradition purposes:

-Enkelet Avduli, 46 years old, who was caught while driving a vehicle on the "Rrogozhinë-Peqin" road axis, after the Court of Appeal of Bologna, Italy, sentenced him to 7 years, 5 months and 9 days in prison for drug trafficking, illegal possession of weapons and intimidation;
