Vehicle hits pedestrian in Vlora/ Elderly woman dies

An accident occurred this evening in the village of Vranisht, Vlora. According to information, a vehicle hit and killed citizen Th. Sh., about 80 years old.

Meanwhile, it is reported that the driver of the vehicle has been escorted to the police station. The police are working to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.

Police announcement:

At around 22:00, on the Vranisht-Vlora road, in the center of the village of Vranisht, the vehicle driven by citizen A. Ll., about 59 years old, resident of Vranisht, hit the pedestrian citizen Th. Sh., about 80 years old.

As a result of the accident, the pedestrian died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle was escorted to the Police Station for further procedural actions.
