CNA has provided the list of sports events that were previously broadcast on Albanian Radio Television.

CNA has learned that RTSH has lost the rights to broadcast almost all sports events and the only one left are the Champions League matches this year, as they will not be broadcast next year.

Euro 2024 will be broadcast by "Tv Klan", television which secured the broadcasting rights for the European Championship in Germany.

As for other competitions, they have collected all "Tring" and "DigitAlb", leaving RTSH with nothing. The Albanian Superliga, the Albanian championship are broadcast on MCN, while Formula 1 on Euronews Albania. 

According to data provided by CNA, RTSH spent about 1.5 million euros a year for rights to sports events that were seen for free by Albanians, who are also the people who pay about 2.7 billion lek in taxes for the public television run by Mr. Alfred Peza. About 7% of the budget went to free sports events.
