Today the media was filled with the news that Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj had been taken to the hospital after the news that came out the day before regarding former Health Minister Ilir Beqaj.

CNA actually learned from official sources from the General Directorate of Prisons that the mayor of Tirana was taken to conduct some tests and there were no interventions or problems.

It was simply a routine checkup, for normal health issues.
