Meta seeks freedom / Hearing at the Criminal Court of Kosovo to be held today

Today, a court hearing will be held at the GJKKO for the leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta.

Meta has requested a change in the security measure. The leader of the PL was arrested on October 21, 2024.

According to SPAK, Meta is accused of criminal offenses such as "Passive corruption of high-ranking state officials or local elected officials" in 3 (three) cases, of which in two cases it was committed in collaboration, "Laundering of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity" committed in collaboration and more than once, and "Refusal to declare, failure to declare, concealment or false declaration of assets, private interests of elected persons and public servants, or of any person who has a legal obligation to declare" provided for by articles 260 and 25, 287/2 and 257/a/2 of the Criminal Code./ CNA
