Starting today, all services of the e-Albania platform will be offered with free assistance at a dedicated counter in the premises of the Shkodra Municipality.
This service comes after the Ministry of Justice's instruction to close all private offices that provided assistance for these services.
The Deputy Mayor of Shkodra Municipality, Alban Preka, stated that this new counter has been created to guarantee professional and impartial assistance to every citizen. The service will be provided by a qualified staff, who will assist citizens in using the platform, as part of the commitment to a more transparent administration and closer to citizens.
"As of today, the Municipality of Shkodra offers assistance to citizens for applying to e-albania. It will no longer be offered at private points in the city for a fee, but free of charge at the municipality. There is a dedicated staff and I invite citizens to go to the counters because it is a quality and free service," says Preka.
This decision is based on the guidance of the Ministry of Justice, which has emphasized that the provision of assistance for e-Albania services should be free of charge, and only by public institutions, to protect citizens from abuses and unjustified fees of private offices. /CNA
