"The highest prices in Europe"/ Teliti: 40% of Albanians continue to

Democrat Dorjan Teliti shared figures and comments regarding the economic situation in the country today.

Invited to 'Syri Tv', Teliti said that although at work, 40% of Albanians live in poverty.

According to Teliti, this extreme situation makes Albania the poorest country in Europe, at a time when prices are higher than the European average.

"Meanwhile, in Albania, 40% of Albanians, or to put it differently, in every 10 Albanians, four of them, although they work, continue to live in conditions of poverty. It is not extreme poverty that may lack bread on the table, but apart from bread, apart from bread and an egg, a little oil, sunflower oil, they have nothing more on the table. We are the poorest country in Europe, according to data from international institutions and Eurostat. We are the country with the lowest pensions in Europe. We are the country with the lowest salaries in Europe. Meanwhile, we are the country with prices higher than the European average," said Teliti./CNA
