The co-chair of the Commission for Administrative-Territorial Reform, Luciano Boçi, shared today criticism regarding the current state of local government services towards citizens.

At the public hearing in Shkodra, Boçi stated that investments are lacking, especially in rural areas, and services are not at the level that citizens expect.

According to the democrat, depopulation is a direct consequence of differentiation in services, which has had an impact of 30% over a decade.

"Especially in peripheral areas and rural areas, there is a lack of investment, sewage, water supply, water in agriculture and services are not at the level expected by citizens. Even in education, health, social care. Because citizens pay taxes and fees, but they receive representation in a differentiated way, affecting their lives.
