Socialist MP Erion Braçe raised concerns in Parliament today regarding fires involving new residential buildings.

In his speech, Brace emphasized that the construction methods and materials that are being used recently in various buildings in the country pose a risk to the lives of people and firefighters, as well as damaging property.

According to the socialist, ventilated facades are a new type of threat to citizens, which he considered an alarm, for which, according to him, measures must be taken.

"The conditions of safety and fire protection, when it is a fact that serious events are happening in new, very massive and, above all, expensive constructions for their buyers, are becoming a serious concern. The images of the flames in these buildings attract many curious people, but specialists have analyzed them more clearly and soberly. From them comes the alarm about the materials and the method of construction. Meanwhile, from the institutions, there is only one that has done the expertise, which has found the children responsible. No one has spoken, they even refuse to speak, to take 'unreasonable' actions, about the reasons and the method that favored the flames. It endangered the lives of residents, firefighters while the property was burning, causing great damage. Such buildings with ventilated facades pose a risk to the rest of the unburned building. The other has to do with the spread of this construction system that is being done in Albania in apartments and residential buildings, institutions with such facades, materials and method.
