Kreshnik Hajdari/Celibashi's mandate: I have a conflict of interest, I withdraw from the review

Today, at the meeting of the Central Election Commission, the SPAK letter sent a few days ago regarding the conviction of the mayor of Kuçova, Kreshnik Hajdari, was discussed.

Following SPAK's letter, it was expected that the CEC would make a decision on the mandate of Mayor Kreshnik Hajdari.  

State Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi said he is withdrawing from the review of Hajdar's mandate. Celibashi withdrew because, according to him, he considers himself to be in a conflict of interest.

" Based on the decision of the High Court, the case has been returned to the CEC to continue its administrative review. The interested parties in this process have the right to present their claims regarding this administrative review."

The circumstances on which the decision was made change. The argument for a conflict of interest, as a representative of the body in question, I consider myself to be in a conflict of interest. So I am giving up on reviewing this issue ," Celibashi said.
