Berisha: We do not accept attempts to narrow the opposition's space in the Assembly

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, chaired today the meeting of the DP Parliamentary Group.

Berisha stated today that this political force, along with the party it represents, is facing efforts to narrow the space in the Assembly.

Speaking to the Democrats, Berisha stated that the DP and the opposition will not accept any other proposals coming to them that conflict with constitutional provisions.

"They have tried in various ways to narrow the opposition's space. We absolutely have not accepted it, we have not accepted it and we do not accept it. Just as we cannot accept any kind of modification or proposal that contradicts the definition of the Constitution," Berisha said. /CNA
