Prime Minister Edi Rama, in an interview with the Estonian media outlet "Postimees", focused on the issue of Albania's European integration.
According to the head of government, this journey is not related to what is gained from membership, but from joining Europe.
Rama further said that he believes in a more practical and functional Europe, which does not depend on the vetoes of the 27 member states, which, according to him, must be addressed in depth, as it creates an obstacle to having a different rhythm and strength.
"The issue is not the reward, but Europe. And I did not say this just to enter the EU, but because I believe in a more practical and functional Europe. It makes no sense for Europe to now depend on 27 vetoes, and imagine 29, 33 or even 35 vetoes. Therefore, this is something that needs to be addressed deeply, along with many other issues, because we talked earlier about what prevents Europe from having a different rhythm and strength", said Rama. /CNA
