Trump's nominee speaks about SPAK before the Senate/ Analyst: Clear message

International affairs analyst Adrian Shtuni commented on the speech in the Senate of the candidate nominated for US ambassador to Tirana, Eric Wendt, regarding SPAK.

In a direct link to the "Now" show, Shtuni said that Wendt gave a clear, completely political and diplomatic message.

According to the analyst, Wendt's words were not rhetoric, but an appreciation for the Special Prosecution Office, which shows support for the institutions.

"I think the message was clear. It was a direct message. It was not rhetoric. The assessment for SPAK shows support for the institutions. So it is both political and diplomatic. The ambassador does not come there with priorities that he has developed himself in his office. Priorities are not created in a vacuum, but based on strategic plans. According to what DASH does, they have a 4-year strategic plan. Let's be clear, what we heard about SPAK is an important continuation not only for Albania but also for the US. It is not an individual statement. They want a capable partner and not one caught in crime", - said Shtuni. /CNA
