The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, today accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of violating Article 80 of the Constitution on the delegation of interpellations.

As the chief democrat stated at the meeting of the DP Parliamentary Group, based on constitutional law, the prime minister is obliged to appear in the interpellations requested by deputies and ministers.

Berisha said that the democrats must also look at their responsibility to prevent a repetition of this act.

"And now we are here to look a little at our responsibility. If Article 80 of the Constitution stipulates that the Prime Minister is obliged to appear in the interpellation when requested by MPs and ministers, no MP should accept the delegation of the interpellation. We must focus 100% on Article 80 of the Constitution. It doesn't come, fine. It doesn't come again. Then we make our decisions. But we do not accept the delegation that does not come from the Constitution", said Berisha./ CNA
