'NYT': Mojtaba Khamenei, wounded and locked in a bunker

Since February 28, when the US and Israel struck the Iranian Presidential Palace, Mojtaba Khamenei has been in a bunker and seriously injured, as reported by the prestigious American media 'The New York Times'.

This report deepens the mystery surrounding Iran's new supreme leader. Since coming to power in Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei has not appeared in public, raising more questions about his health.

The report, citing an Iranian official, said Mojtaba Khamenei had serious burns to his face and lips, which made it difficult for him to speak. According to the same source, he is expected to undergo plastic surgery. So far, he has had one surgery on his hand, three on his feet, and is expected to undergo another surgery to fit a prosthetic limb.
