In a media appearance, Mirel Mërtiri, on "Syri TV" television, in the presence of journalist Çim Peka, said some new facts and evidence that force SPAK to open new lines of investigation and bring the incinerators of Elbasan and Fierit, the investments made with contracts, which claim to be PPP, but in fact are investments spread over time.

Mirel Mërtiri declared yesterday that he had lost money in Elbasan , after having invested 3 million euros more, although he said that he was just a project director and a representative of the company in the Netherlands.

SPAK is already clear, Mirel Mërtiri had invested 3 million euros more in Elbasan, when in fact he is just a project director.

On the other hand, Mirel Mërtiri had never publicly admitted that he was related to the Fier incinerator and the unfinished investment there.

With an official letter, the company "ITS" has notified the Albanian government that the investment has been completed, but in fact, according to the data, it turns out that there is still an amount of 3-4 million euros needed to be carried out as an investment.

Mirel Mërtiri publicly admitted yesterday that he had a relationship with the Fier incinerator and that he knew about it. He should now be re-investigated for his connection with the Fieri incinerator.

Being in Elbasan, Fier and Tirana, Mirel Mërtiri is clearly the head of the structured criminal group of incinerators. SPAK has proven this, as Mirel Mërtiri himself publicly admitted it yesterday in a "live" studio, saying that Elbasan's company belonged to his family and more money had been invested, he knew about the Fier incinerator and also he represented Tirana, but was just a director and did not know the payments that had been made.

Even for Tirana he used some figures, which in fact, saying 50 million euros one time or 60 million euros the other time, he forgot to say that these money were not investments, but were money circulated in total.

Whereas, according to the business plan and the contract signed with the Albanian government, Mr. Mirel Mërtiri and the concessionaire company should have invested 128 million euros after 6 years, or after 3 years as he claims over 100 million euros and at least one incinerator line should have been in function.

Mirel Mërtiri said with his mouth what really happened, who is the main person, after yesterday he admitted that he knew about everything, even though he tried to hide and justify the purpose of his exit.

So, he said what his media financiers say publicly, the plight of the prosecutor, the plight of a Rama minister or that he was not the owner even though he knew about the sums of money, what had circulated, how it had been invested, etc.

Yesterday, Mirel Mërtiri gave SPAK the opportunity to open two new charges, to re-investigate Elbasan and Fier, and to finally reveal the truth that he was the head of a structured criminal group that today actually became a shareholder with 20% and the representative of the company in the Netherlands, which continues its activity, not because it was seized in Albania, but in Zimbabwe./ CNA
