KLP deepens the scandal/Censorship and media pressure with regulations

The High Prosecution Council has today approved a regulation that according to them regulates the relationship with the media.

In fact, the regulation in question does not regulate the relationship with the media, but violates it.

With the same regulation, KLP has attempted to "rob" the work of editors-in-chief and editors, by deciding what constitutes news and how this news is made and when a meeting or an activity is of interest.

The High Prosecution Council is an institution that is paid for by citizens' taxes, who have the right to be informed about the behind-the-scenes happenings within the walls of the KLP.

Derisa të zbatohet Ligji, KLP nuk ka pse të ketë frikë dhe të fusë censurimin me rregullore të tilla.

Për më tepër kur në rregullore guxojnë dhe shkruajnë se mund të kërkojnë edhe medias largimin e një gazetari të akredituar.

Në këtë pjesë janë kujdesur që të shtojnë, nëse gazetari bën shkelje qartësisht të dallueshme të objektivitetit dhe profesionalizmit, Kushtetutës.

Por, nuk saktësojnë se cilat janë këto shkelje, si qenka shkelja e profesionalizmit dhe objektitite, kur iu zbardhen skandalet, kur iu thuhet e vërteta, apo kur nuk bëhet lajmi sipas dëshirës së tyre.

Që kur “kryeredaktorët” e KLP-së, vlerësojnë profesionalizmin dhe objektivitetin e një gazetari?

“Çdo kërkesë për informacion duhet t’i drejtohet Koordinatorit për të Drejtën e Informimit, i cili është përgjegjës edhe për koordinimin e sigurimit të informacionit brenda institucionit. Koordinatori për të Drejtën e Informimit, me miratimin e anëtarit të caktuar të Këshillit, ka të drejtë të kërkojë nga drejtuesi përkatës i medias së akredituar zëvendësimin e një gazetari, nëse rezultojnë shkelje qartësisht të dallueshme të objektivitetit dhe profesionalizmit, si dhe për shkelje të Kushtetutës, ligjit, dhe të parimeve të kësaj rregulloreje.

The decision is communicated to the head of the relevant media, through the Coordinator for the Right to Information.
