Assassination in Saranda/ 50-year-old man shot in front of business by two

Saranda / Preliminary information

At around 21:15, in neighborhood no. 4, in Saranda, under still unclear circumstances, citizen Th. R., 50 years old, was wounded with a gunshot in front of his business. He was transported to the hospital, where he is receiving medical attention.

Police services immediately arrived at the scene and intensive checks are continuing in the area to identify and capture the perpetrator(s). Initial reports suggest that the perpetrators were two people wearing spacesuits, who fled the scene on a motorbike.

Meanwhile, the investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is continuing its actions at the scene to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident, as well as to identify and capture the perpetrator(s)./ CNA
