CNA has been facing a criminal attack directed by Aldor Nini of "Acromax" for almost three months.

Because of this attack, CNA's page on "TikTok" was closed, "Instagram" was hit, "YouTube" was closed and today also the page on "Facebook".

The Albanian Media Council reacted with concern to this repeated attack.

Through a statement, KSHM describes the actions of Aldor Ninita of "Acromax" as an act of censorship.

KSHM emphasizes that the closure of social networks without a court decision constitutes a clear violation of freedom of information, freedom of expression and violation of free speech.

KSHM expresses its concern about the repeated attack on social networks against CNA media.

Blocking of the pages of any media, whether on the web or in social networks, can and should be done ONLY with a final decision of the Albanian courts.

If the public's access is blocked, without a court decision, except in the cases provided by law, it constitutes a pure violation of freedom of information and freedom of expression and violation of free speech.  

KSHM calls on social network platforms to avoid media blocking, and especially without a prior notification of those affected", the statement underlined.

Earlier, the Association of Journalists of Albania also expressed concern about the online attack on the media CNA.al and about the series of reports on "Facebook" of the journalist Elvi Fundo./ CNA
