10 little tricks that make plane travel more comfortable

Traveling by plane can be the start of an adventure, an escape, or simply a professional obligation. Whatever your boarding pass means to you, one thing is for sure: the journey begins long before takeoff. If you're one of those people who likes to feel comfortable while flying, these little tricks will make the flying experience much more enjoyable.

1. Comfortable clothing

Forget jeans and tight clothes. A good pair of shoes and a loose-fitting top are the ultimate travel combo. Want something a little more elegant? Try a soft fabric set or a pair of linen pants. 

2. Noise-canceling headphones

It may not be the most economical investment, but if you travel often, it's worth it. You can turn down the noise, crying babies, notifications, and lose yourself in your favorite podcast or playlist.

3. Drink water: more hydration, less fatigue

Airplane air is incredibly dry. Take an empty bottle and fill it up after you check in, or buy a large bottle of water before you get on the plane. Your body (and skin) will thank you.

4. Small skin care set

A small set of lip balm, moisturizer, facial spray, cleansing wipes, and a small perfume. Also, bring some gum or breath spray.

5. Download Netflix and Spotify offline

A baby food-style cereal, nuts, or fruit (yes, even if you don't have kids!) are ideal for avoiding bland meals on the plane and keeping your energy up.

10. Always keep a book or magazine in your bag.

A light novel, magazine, or even your favorite journal will keep you company.
