Zhupa: The government has approved 5 clientelist laws, an anti-European approach

Democratic Party MP Ina Zhupa accused the government today of having adopted five property laws in violation of European directives and the European integration process.

Speaking in the Assembly, Zhupa stated that these laws are the Strategic Investment Law, the Protected Areas Law, the "Mountains Package", for tourist ports and the Albanian Investment Corporation.

"This Parliament has approved, as in no other EU country, and against every directive, against the SAA, against the European Charter, 5 clientelist laws on demand, which constitute a package of devouring public and private property. The 5 laws are:

The Strategic Investment Law, which donated public lands on the Albanian coast to oligarchs, along with other benefits.

The Protected Areas Law, which removed all protection in these areas to build there without any restrictions, to donate national wealth. As the fadromas have been introduced today in Pishe Poro. A law that the EU specifically says should be repealed.

The "Mountain Package" law, to donate even the private property of those who are unable, so that those who have money, in addition to devouring public property, can also take private property.

The law on tourist ports, where oligarchs, in addition to land, also have their own private ports without competition.

And the law of the Albanian Investment Corporation, that state property in Tirana and everywhere be given for towers, as is expected to happen with the Brigades Palace and the Palace of Congresses.

"This package of 5 anti-property laws clearly shows that you are the most anti-European government the country has ever had," Zhupa stressed. /CNA
