SP MP Ulsi Manja reacted from the Parliament podium after Parliament Speaker Niko Peleshi earlier did not give him the floor to respond and asked him not to address him as "Niko".

Manja said that he wanted to publicly apologize to the speaker of parliament for the way he addressed her, but that he was not allowed to do so because Peleshi "allowed cynicism to dominate with the microphone."

Among other things, he added that he did not find the understanding from him to take the floor instead of another socialist MP, as he said the rules allow.

"Mr. Speaker of the Assembly, since you did not give me the floor to respond to Sali Berisha, I should at least ask you to publicly apologize over the microphone for lowering your ranks and preferring instead of publicly apologizing to me over the microphone, to allow your cynicism over the microphone to dominate."  

I want to remind you that the power of empathy and without a micron is stronger than anyone's cynicism in relation to colleagues in this hall. I know the rules of the Assembly as a member of parliament for years, and when there is an issue for discussion with a certain amount of time, no reply is allowed, but in agreement with the colleague, the order of the speech can be changed.

You did not have this understanding. But you have my full understanding that it is not easy to face a political dinosaur like Berisha, who survives in power with the means he knows how to use best, slander, mud, blackmail and the status he has recently received "non grata". Because to face this type of politics, the rules of the Assembly do not help you, except for your rules", Manja said. /CNA
