The opposition has requested that Prime Minister Edi Rama and Chief Negotiator Majlinda Dhuka be present at today's session where the report on European integration will be discussed.

The head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, stated that the Prime Minister could not fail to be present at the adoption of this important resolution for the country.

"We cannot discuss a process that you have also described in the draft resolution as a national strategic priority. Meanwhile, the country's prime minister is not present at the session. It does not happen in any country that the prime minister comes only twice to vote. The prime minister must come to give an account at the session, especially on an issue that is European integration. In one month, he has given 7 different positions. The prime minister and the chief negotiator should be summoned ," said Bardhi.

The MP of the Opportunity Party, Erald Kapri, has also requested that Rama be present at the session, while saying that his absence shows weakness and not strength.

"Prime Minister Rama is not coming to give an account. The Prime Minister, together with the President of Serbia, thinks that we should enter the EU as a member without full rights. His absence in this parliament shows his weakness, not his strength," said Kapri. /CNA
