DP/Kalaja elections: Better a referendum than fake candidates

Member of the Democratic Party leadership, Aulon Kalaja, spoke in a television appearance about the elections within the party and the opposition protests.

Kalaja said that regarding the protests, a ridiculous debate is taking place where the police are asking to show them how to protest.

Regarding the race for the presidency of the DP, Kalaja stated that the party's statute has defined several criteria, while adding that he would have liked to see a candidate with potential facing Berisha.

Further, the chairman stated that it would be better to hold a referendum than a race with established candidates.

"The DP should turn more to the right because it is more in the center. I think that the opposition should be treated with its own position. The opposition is holding protests where the police are telling us where we should protest, we should not leave the territory of the Boulevard, we should not protest with fireworks. So this is a ridiculous debate that these people want to teach us how to protest. As for the race, the 23rd will ruin this whole story.
