The uncle of the murdered officer, Enea Mekolli, Hazbi Mekolli, has raised questions about the way the operation was organized in which his nephew lost his life in Lozhan i Maliqi.

During a statement to the media, Hazbi Mekolli stated that the officers who participated in the action did not have the necessary protection, while demanding that the persons who ordered the intervention be held accountable.

"Without any kind of protection. The person who ordered it must answer to the law. There were 6 people in the operation. Later, other police forces arrived," he declared.
