In September, the Socialist Party enters its 11th year of government like no other political force in Albania in these 33 years. But the governance of this record-breaking force has entered into a mess that is little to say that it is suffering from a deep crisis.

With ministers Saimir Tahiri convicted and Lefter Koka arrested, with deputy prime minister Arben Ahmetaj wanted, with ministers Ilir Beqja, Shkëlqim Cani, Damian Gjiknuri under investigation, with deputy minister Klodian Rrjepaj arrested, with deputy Alqi Blako arrested, with the mayor convicted Fatos Tushe and the arrested mayors Vangjush Dako and Safet Gjici, with a dozen police officers arrested as being connected to criminal organizations, including the director of the Operational Force, the governance and power of the left has fallen to low moral quotas.

Is there an uprising in the SP because of the moral crisis in the government?

Indeed, the opposition has turned what is happening into a battle horse, but in the shattered state it is in, it has almost no influence on this situation.

The big question is: Is this situation being discussed in the Socialist Party?

Are there voices in this party to demand an account for this squadron of characters with superpowers that is currently in the hands of justice?

Are there MPs, members of the leadership who are looking for analysis and account of why the SP is in such a state that even though it convincingly wins electoral contests with political opponents, it has lost the battle with SPAK?

Has it ever been discussed in the SP and has he ever been asked to account for this situation directly to the prime minister why he chose exactly these people as close collaborators?

Is there an uprising in the SP because of the moral crisis in the government?

In general, the answer to this question is negative. If not, the reader may ask: Are you mentally sound? To date, there is no voice against in the SP. No one speaks. No one speaks their mind and it seems as if thinking is forbidden in this party. And there is no chance that anyone will hold Edi Rama accountable.

It looks like a distant vision in the SP led by Fatos Nano when everyone in this party discussed freely and voted for everything freely and this was broadcast live on television. So much so that today the number one model of democracy in the Albanian parties remains the one when on October 9, 1999, the acting prime minister of that time, Pandeli Majko, lost by 36 votes to Fatos Nano in the race for SP chairman in the congress.

After 24 years, Majko, considered among those who are "the last Mohicans" in PS, often feels toothache and this takes away the possibility of speaking. Meanwhile, the deputy and former deputy prime minister Erjon Braçe, having the moral card with him, is the only one who made opposition within the majority, although this opposition is often limited only within the problems of the Myzeqe area and in some matters of principle that to some extent the public does not clearly understand who he is talking about.

We have heard Braçe address several ministers with governmental weight, but without political weight, but we have never heard him address the prime minister and the party chairman.

The surprise and surprise finally comes from people who apparently are not important and have political power, but who in the public have a good opinion of them also because of the fact that they are honest and are rooted socialists. Klodeta Dibra, professor at the Faculty of Foreign Languages ??at the University of Tirana and once dean at that faculty, previously a member of the Municipal Council of Tirana and engaged in the structures of the Socialist Party, on August 22 exploded with her anger as she published a status on her Facebook profile a few days after the arrests by SPAK for the sterilization affair.

Surprisingly, this did not become news at all from the portals that stand ready with tweezers in hand to catch any sentence even for the stupidest "VIPs" that Albania has. Mrs. Dibra has really put her finger on the mark for what is happening in the SP.

She openly commented on the way Prime Minister and Socialist leader Edi Rama has chosen his collaborators and who are now facing justice.

Without mentioning his name, Professor Dibra has chosen to publish a selected quote from the Italian Renaissance philosopher Niccolo Machiavelli, taken from his masterpiece "The Prince". Klodeta Dibra writes on her profile:

"Machiavelli in "The Prince" writes: "For a prince, it is very important to select associates, who are good or not, depending on the ingenuity with which he has chosen them. To appreciate this intelligence, it is enough to see the people around him. If they are up to the task and reliable, the prince can be considered intelligent, because he knew how to appreciate their abilities and trust, if not, the opinion about him must be changed, because with this choice he has just committed the first mistake…” .

There is no doubt that for Dibra, the prince above is not the "crown prince of Saudi Arabia", as he himself explains when someone asks him on the wall. Relatively speaking, he is Edi Rama and the collaborators who disturb Dibra are Arben Ahmetaj, Vangjush Dako, Ilir Beqja and others who are in the hands of justice. And immediately after this status, a flood of comments followed. Another professor and former socialist, once in the structures of this party, Zamira Çavo, released a torpedo that simply continues where Dibra leaves off as she writes below her status:

"Collaborators and advisors for our leaders historically, are to be found".

Is there an uprising in the SP because of the moral crisis in the government?

And Dibra agrees with this conclusion as he accompanied the comment with a "thumbs up". A SP militant from Vlora accompanies the same status with a thought directly what Dibra wrote as she writes:

"We were proud, but it happens that we are disappointed by the first of these atrocities".

What Klodeta Dibra wrote sounded like a cursed voice as it went completely unnoticed and without anyone commenting on it, but no. With a much higher political status than her, the veteran socialist deputy Petro Koçi has put his finger on the wound, although he has localized the problem he raises only with the district of Fier where he is a deputy. He calls revenge what the state administration is doing to the Socialist Party. Petro Koçi writes:

"One year ago: On the eve of the elections of April 25, 2021, the SP government in Fier reflected in a serious and reliable way with changes in some sectors where failure dominated. The changes brought electoral results. Fieri became the champion in the district. The conviction that the SP was reacting in accordance with public opinion in striking the negative phenomena of the administration restored political support equal to 2017.

Now I am sorry to see that the administration has taken revenge on the voted party and the citizens it represents. In the dilemma to speak or remain silent, I chose to speak. Even if it annoys the corruption in Fier. Nice jobs can't cover dirty jobs. We will applaud the beautiful works. We will hit the dirty ones. This is PS"!

The unrepeatable in SP Erjon Braçe does not spare criticism for agriculture and of course he has it directly for the minister Frida Krifca. Brace wrote on August 24:

"How much is it worth listening to?" I think it has a lot of value. For agricultural oil and more. I told them that I hate to say "I told you 9-10 months ago"! Do you know why? Because I care about work, not confirmation of what I say! Oil for farmers is not enough again. Even though the price was cheaper, even though a second production cycle was removed, even though the coefficient changed, still money and oil were not enough. From 35 to 57 percent of the farmers who applied to the municipalities of Fier district did not receive the oil. Now there is no point in saying "I told you in November" and I remember what you told me! Oil today is 192 lek and it is becoming more expensive. As a result, the autumn agricultural cycle will become more expensive".

There is no better, more accurate than what Brace has written. Only there is one small problem. He could directly address the Prime Minister and this issue would be resolved without one or two. Therefore, a Facebook status of an important deputy who was once deputy prime minister seems very general and Braçe himself looks more like an analyst of agriculture issues and not a deputy of the SP.

RAMA FOR THE CO-WORKERS AND FOR THOSE WHO ASK THE SP WHY YOU CHOOSE "THEM" EXACTLY

With this squadron in the hands of SPAK in SP, the question of why Rama chose exactly these to cooperate has become the topic of the day. No one in this party has ever asked him this question, but as luck would have it, a journalist did not spare him at the press conference on Friday. And Rama answered with a not very convincing explanation. Rama said:

"When we elect, we don't put people through the torture chamber to find out what they might do in the future. Power is a very wild "animal". It is very difficult to keep it tamed and not fall prey to its own teeth. There are many who carry it, there are some who do not. There are many who resist temptation, there are some who do not, but we cannot make advance predictions about who will and who will not resist temptation when we make our choices.

We make choices based on what we see, what we know, then in the process people are different natures, different characters. There are some that are stronger.

There are some that are weaker. There are some who ask. There are some who do not question what the government offers as a temptation. So, I think we will see this positively and only positively. There is nothing here other than the individual responsibility of everyone who cannot bear the weight of temptations to do one way and two jobs and the results of the work".

Is there an uprising in the SP because of the moral crisis in the government?

In principle, Rama is right in this explanation. But the continuation of the question could be: But in the case when someone who has been officially accused of corruption and when the opinion about him is black, even in the structures of the SP they recognize him as such, and again the prime minister appoints him as a minister or director , how would you answer? Of course, Rama has direct responsibility in these selections.

He must sift through all those he nominates, because this is where the appreciation he gets for himself in the eyes of the public begins. If he selects and appoints honest people with good opinion, proven in state and party duties and then during the duty he "goes crazy", of course Rama is right.

But, when someone has a negative opinion, when in the tasks he has exercised it has been proven that he was a juggler of dirty money, when in the reports that have been put on Rama's table he has a black background and again Rama appoints him to a high state office, this is unjustifiable and inexcusable. And Rama has made quite a few appointments of this type. The socialist Dibra rightly associates this style and nature with the golden advice of "The Prince" by Niccolo Machiavell.

INSUFFICIENCY OF SPEAKING UNDER THE VOICE

Like Klodeta Dibra, Petro Koçi and Erjon Braçe, with what they have expressed, they have endangered their careers in the SP. Less Dibra who has no political and state post and more Koçi, and even more Ejon Braçe who is a deputy and an important politician in the party structures. But are these few voices enough? Of course not.

In fact, they speak in the Socialist Party. Some even talk to themselves. Most speak in a low voice of the ciu-ciu form. But this is neither freedom nor opposition, and it certainly can never be an uprising in the palace. And dirty money jugglers will not go to the "torture hall". They know what their next post will be./ CNA
