Icon, Margarita Xhepa, criticism of today's films/ "They don't have scripts, they leave something to be desired"

The icon of Albanian cinematography, Margarita Xhepa, has criticized the scripts of today's films in Albanian cinemas.

The artist, in an interview in Peter Pan's Trap, expressed that it leaves much to be desired as today there are many events but no scenarios.

The cinematographer added that today's films do not deal with social problems.

"It is to be desired because at that time not only dramas were performed in the theater, but also films were played because they were taken from history, the sayings of the people, from the war but also social problems, and good films were made, we must admit it this. Now there are no scenarios, now we have more events. A film about the son who fled emigration and the parent he left alone, the longing, the love, the care, the mind that is there for the parents. There are other problems, unemployment and many others", said the artist Margarita Xhepa./ CNA
