What is Night of Qadr / Importance and benefits, why is it kept secret

The month of Ramadan is in the last 10 days, which has the greatest importance and attention of believers. This is also because of the Night of Qadr.

The Night of Qadr is the night in which the Prophet Muhammad, through the angel Gabriel, revealed the first verses of the Qur'an, according to Islam.

So the Night of Qadr is known as the night when the Qur'an came down to earth. This night is celebrated on the third ten days of Ramadan.

However, the Qur'an does not mention a specific date.

Why is the Night of Qadr secret?

There is much wisdom in the secret of this night. If we all knew the Night of Qadr precisely, the determination and will during Ramadan would decrease. People would simply give importance and attention to this very night, which they would spend in worship and good work and that's it. Therefore, hiding it is seen as a motivation for more dedication throughout the month and a doubling of good deeds, especially during the last ten days of Ramadan.

The same as the secrecy of the Night of Qadr, is the time of acceptance of prayer on Friday, as is the secrecy of the greatest name of God, with which if someone prays to God, he answers and accepts his prayer. These three are kept secret so that we may pray and worship God as much as possible.

Signs of the Night of Qadr

This great night has its signs, which are not noticed until after the new day has dawned. Among these signs is that the sun of the day that follows the Night of Qadr rises without rays, or is red and dimly lit.

Another sign that is said is the light rain that can fall on the Night of Qadr, the wind and that night, it is open, neither hot nor cold.

All these signs are not cut and do not reach the degree of complete security. They may or may not be found, depending on the country and the season. There are Muslim countries where it rains incessantly, others where it hasn't rained for years, others that suffer from the cold and others that suffer from the heat.

Cadre Night benefits

Her favors are endless and blessings follow us until next year.

In this night, the lifespan of people is determined. It is determined where they are destined to go. Risk, supply and shortage are defined. Who will perform the Hajj is determined precisely on this night.

On this night we descend with thousands of angels and Gabriel himself descends to earth. Allah has sent down this month and this day to reward and to worship. So, on this night, the fate of creatures is determined.

It is a night which God has chosen to fill with special magnificence and goodness. As stated in the Qur'an, this is one night worth more than a thousand months. In it, the angels of God, led by Gabriel, descend to the world and in it the fate of a year is determined for each person, as well as what is a blessed night dominated by peace, until dawn.

It is said that on the Night of Qadr, what will happen next year is announced to the angels.

It was called Kadër, because this is a high night in the great God and that in it most sins are forgiven and evils are covered, so this is the night of Magfiret-mercy. Islamic scholars called it "a holiday among the most respected, a night of peace, of general goodness, of unparalleled reward."

One of the greatness of this night is the opening of the doors of the heavens to accept the prayers of those who turn to their God to solve their problems, to remove difficulties and to bring them joy.

This night is better and more valuable than a thousand other months. And 1000 months make 83 years and 4 months.
