Convicted of domestic violence/ 34-year-old woman sent to prison with 7-month-old baby

Police have arrested a 34-year-old woman at Rinas Airport to serve a 2-month prison sentence for the criminal offense of domestic violence.

The arrest was accompanied by difficulties due to the three minor children who were with him, one of whom was only 7 months old, while the other two were 2 and 4 years old.

According to journalist Anila Hoxha, the 34-year-old asked for the children to stay with her, stating that she had no one to leave them with.

The authorities decided to send the woman to the Institution for the Execution of Criminal Decisions in Poiskë, along with the 7-month-old baby.

The 2-year-old child is expected to join his mother at the institution tomorrow, while arrangements have been made for the other child to be cared for by family members./ CNA
