US President Donald Trump warned that if Iran accepts the terms of the proposed deal, Operation Epic Fury will end and the full opening of the Strait of Hormuz will be guaranteed for everyone, including Iran itself.
Trump stressed that a blockade considered "very effective" would be lifted immediately after an agreement is reached.
However, the US president warned of serious consequences in case of refusal.
He stated that, if Iran does not agree, a new phase of bombing will begin, which is expected to be at a much higher level and intensity than before.
"Assuming Iran agrees to deliver what was agreed upon, which is, perhaps, a big assumption, the now legendary Epic Fury will end, and the very effective Blockade will allow the Strait of Hormuz to be OPEN TO ALL, including Iran. If they do not agree, the bombing begins, and unfortunately, it will be at a much higher level and intensity than it was before. Thank you for your attention to this matter ," Trump wrote.
