Iran denies attacks on UAE: If we had done it, we would have announced it

The Iranian military has categorically denied launching any attack on the United Arab Emirates (UAE) this week, dismissing claims to the contrary as baseless.

"The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have not launched any missile or drone operations against the United Arab Emirates in recent days ," the Iranian army's central command said in a statement.

"If such action had been taken, we would have announced it firmly and clearly ," she added, warning that any attack launched from Emirati territory against Iran would be met with a strong response.

The United Arab Emirates said its air defense systems were attacking missiles and drones coming from Iran for the second day in a row, weeks after a fragile ceasefire began.

Iran has targeted the United Arab Emirates more than any other country during the war, striking not only American assets in the country but also energy and civilian infrastructure.

In its statement on Tuesday, the Iranian military issued a warning to the United Arab Emirates, referring to the United States and Israel: "Your country, as an Islamic land, must not become a haven for the Americans and Zionists, their forces and military equipment . " /CNA
