Kriza nga lufta/ Australia do të shpenzojë 7.2 miliardë dollarë për sigurimin e furnizimit me energji

Kryeministri australian Anthony Albanese ka njoftuar se qeveria e tij do të shpenzojë 7.2 miliardë dollarë për sigurimin e furnizimeve me energji, të nxitura nga kriza e vazhdueshme në Lindjen e Mesme.

Sipas paketës, Australia do të krijojë një rezervë karburanti në pronësi të qeverisë prej rreth një miliard litrash, duke i rritur rezervat kritike të vendit të naftës dhe karburantit për avionë në 50 ditë.

"Kjo synon të sigurojë që australianët të kenë më shumë besim në mbrojtjen e sovranitetit tonë energjetik, jo vetëm gjatë kësaj krize, por edhe në të ardhmen, duke mbrojtur interesat energjetike të kombit tonë", tha kryeministri australian për gazetarët.

Australia është përballur me disa nga rritjet më të mëdha të çmimeve të benzinës dhe naftës që nga fillimi i armiqësive në Iran. /CNA
