Today at 2:00 PM, a court hearing will be held at the Administrative Court for the lawsuit filed by the mayor arrested on 13 charges for 5 serious criminal offenses, Erion Veliaj, against prosecutor Ols Dado.

The lawsuit is nothing more than another attack by Veliaj against the prosecutor who investigated his case.

While prosecutor Altin Dumani is afraid to mention his name, since his arrest Veliaj has been engaged with his media servants and lawyers from lobbying law firms and have focused their attacks on prosecutor Ols Dado.

A series of schemes and frauds that filled reports for which they lobbied by paying 220 thousand dollars to lie and slander about prosecutor Ols Dado, starting from requests for building permits or to the most unimaginable fact that the prosecutor is a DP activist.

Veliaj's attacks and pressure on justice continue, with the mayor, arrested on 13 serious criminal charges, directing his defendant lawyer Plarent Ndreca to appear at a press conference and exert open public pressure on prosecutor and judge Hazbi Balliu.

Just two days before today's hearing, official sources told CNA that in the corridors of Tirana Municipality, the administration and leaders are being asked to be present at today's trial at the Administrative Court. This move is seen as open pressure on Judge Hazbi Balliu and Prosecutor Ols Dado.

This is actually a repeated scheme like the one when the Tirana Municipality administration gathered in front of the GJKKO in a shameful protest at the moment Erion Veliaj was arrested.

CNA learned that Tirana Municipality leaders are being persistently asked to be present, saying that they should go to the Administrative Court to support the mayor.

CNA previously reported that the Municipality of Tirana itself was shamefully involved in the lawsuit that Erion Veliaj filed against prosecutor Ols Dado.

Now all of Veliaj's scenarios have been revealed, as well as his goal of intimidating prosecutor Ols Dado and the judges.

Such attacks show a coward who, instead of facing justice and accusations, from the depths of Durrës prison carries out attacks on prosecutors and judges./ CNA
