The Director General of the State Police, Skënder Hita, held a conference today where he spoke about the poisoning of students at the Security Academy.

Hita said that investigative actions were taken in cooperation with the AKU and said that the commercial service activity has not been interrupted.

The Chief of Police stated that the specific violations committed by the subject will be made known in the coming days.

 

 

" It was a sensitive event for us as well. We were informed that some of the students went to the hospital. Their condition was mild, not severe. We have taken measures for all the students. Regarding the actions we took yesterday, we arrested the 2 responsible persons who carried out the administrative part and the preparation of the food. The company administrator was also declared wanted. The substance that was used was blocked in cooperation with the AKU. The activity of the commercial entity has not been interrupted, as there are several other institutions where it operates. The specific violations will be announced later. At the moment, we have only received the notification that these students have been poisoned. Today we have continued with the same company. Yesterday, the substances or food quantities used by the students were blocked. The company continues to supply the students today as well. We will continue to see how it will be operated ," he said.
