Basha scores “own goal”/ Here is how he manipulated the voting for the local leaders of Democratic Party

Two days ago, the Democratic Party closed the voting process for the candidates who will run in the parliamentary elections of April 25, 2021, in the district of Korça. Beyond what CNA.al has reported, where it was clear that Korça gave Lulzim Basha a good lessson, rejecting three former MPs and a former mayor, in fact this process brought to light another detail.

If we look carefully at the officially declared figures about yesterday?s voting in Korça, arise strong suspicions of manipulation. Yesterday in Korça it was officially said that the membership of the Democratic Party is 1375 people.
Another detail is the fact that in 2017, during the race for the leader of the Democratic Party, it was stated that Lulzim Basha received 1349 votes, while Eduard Selami 127 votes.

So in total it turns out that 1476 people voted. So how turns out 1476 votes, when the DP has 1375 members?
Have 100 people died in four years?

Have they left from the DP?

So the DP has been abandoned?

But Luli Basha claims that he will win, and that the party is growing.

How is possible that in 2017 in Korça have been more and more voters are now less?
They are Either manipulated and his figures are false in both cases, or is played with the membership. So the membership is bigger. What is happening? Once declared 1375, once 1600, according to interests. And since in Korça it was shown with photos, facts and videos that during the voting participated only 600-700 people, the number was doubled and the box was filled, to announce the result that was announced.
Although there are some cases where there is no need to fill the boxes, there is no one to ask for a recount. Eduard Selami will not request a recount. Now that the clash at the base is stronger, occurs this phenomenon, as in Devoll, Maliq or Pogradec, where about 500 people vote, while in 2017, Pogradec declared over 1.000 voters.

How was the membership list in Pogradec halved? They died?  They got away? Or in 2017 the ballot box was filled?

The same situation is in Maliq, where about 400-500 people have fled. Then how did 1200 people vote, when the membership list is declared to be only 700 people? How was the list halved?

There are some branches where the lists are halved, always as a declared membership list, and not as a turnout. If we analyze the turnout, the gap is 60-70 percent, so a manipulation similar to that of 2017. Today he is lying again with the figures, or he was lied yesterday.
There is no clear reconciliation of figures. Once it is said that the list has 600 members, once it comes out with 1300, once 1700, and another time 2500. Different membership lists appear in each ballot. In each vote the results do not match at all.

Moreover, in 2017, when it was voted for the leader of the Democratic Party, in the famous commission “Gjana”, more votes came out than the membership. The ballot papers did not match the result. There were more votes than the number of people who had participated in the voting.
So is the scandal of this process, which clearly showed us in the region of Korça, but also in other regions, how was manipulated the election of the chairman of the Democratic Party in 2017, which was denounced with facts and video, in Vlora and Korça.
And today it continues to be manipulated and lied to again, in many of the regions of Albania, adding figures and trying to match them. But, they have forgotten the figures they declared in 2017 and have forgotten the membership, as they are declaring today.

Now in four years, either 20-30 per cent of democrats has died, or fled from DP, or Luli Basha has filled the ballot boxes for his election and increased membership fictitiously in 2017, to show that he process had a massive turnout. The same is being done in many of the regions of Albania, increasing the turnout of voters, in order to save from disqualification many of the candidates that he will have on the list./CNA.al
