Scandal in the Democratic Party of Devoll/ Fights between local leaders, weapons are also taken out

The Democratic Party is holding elections today for the candidates for MPs in Devoll, but it seems that this process has not gone properly. Fights broke out between the local leaders of DP in Devoll.

Some supporters of the former mayor of Devoll Bledion Nallbati punched the chairman of the Democratic Party Arben Miza, reports CNA.al

The situation has degenerated even further, as weapons were also taken out in this quarrel. The general secretary of the Democratic Party, Gazmend Bardhi, tried to stop the quarrel, but his calls for calm were in vain.

Democrats have beaten the DP chairman, after the latter accused Bledjon Nallbati of buying votes and damaging the electoral process.

We recall here that Devolli is considered one of the main strongholds of the DP in the southeast of the country, and the race between candidates for MP is considered quite fierce./ CNA.al
