Changes from "Territoriale"/ Xhaferri raises the alarm: Skrapar

Democratic Party MP, Besart Xhaferri, reacted today regarding the changes expected in the country through the Administrative-Territorial Reform.

Xhaferri writes in a post on his social networks that this reform is not complete if it does not respect the history, ethnography, customs and traditions of a region, focusing on the case of Skrapar.

Xhaferri highlights the rare elements of the tradition of this area, which he emphasizes that he knows quite well due to his family origin.

According to the MP, the concrete danger that comes to this area from 'Territorja' is the disappearance of the Skrapar Municipality from the map of the country.

"The scraper is not touched!"

A territorial reform cannot be considered complete if it does not respect the history, ethnography, customs, and traditions of a region.

In the Socialist Party's proposal for the new territorial map, I saw that the Skrapar Municipality risks disappearing from the map of Albania.

Whoever has undertaken this proposal must do the calculations well, not only for Skrapar, but for every region that is at risk of disintegration.

I invite the sons and daughters of Skrapar wherever they live, in Albania and the diaspora, to react, and as a Member of the Parliament of Albania, my voice will be raised against this injustice.

My family, Xhaferri of Mollas, but also the people I am a descendant of in Cerovë and Zhepë, come from that region with historical contributions to the entire Albanian lands, and as a son of those parts, I do not intend to sit idly by.
