Prime Minister Edi Rama was present today at the opening session of the World Law Congress, taking place in Tirana.

In his speech, Rama emphasized the concept of governing by law and not by force, not just as a motto, but as a concrete platform.

According to Rama, Albania has faced a historic challenge over the last decade in the field of law, referring to the work on Justice Reform.

"We are at a moment when the entire center is in Albania, of an event with global prestige in the field of the rule of law. A world governed by law and not by force. It grew as a platform of faith in the law and the people of law. Today, the world congress is a world-renowned institution, carrying around the world the message of precisely that motive that connected it: Rule by law and not by force. No one would have imagined that Tirana would be chosen by this prestigious platform as the host of this college, not for the climate or geographical position, but for what Albania has done in the last decade in relation to a historic and impossible challenge for many decades for the Albanian people to build in this country precisely the conditions for governance by law and not by force", - said Rama. /CNA
