"They have ridden the integration 'horse' backwards"/ Dule

The head of the PBDNJ, Vangjel Dule, has stated that Albania-Greece relations are cold.

According to Dule, Prime Minister Edi Rama is responsible for this.

During an interview, Dule stated that Rama wants to keep relations in artificial tension without cause or reason, tending to serve his local agenda.

"Relations, Albania-Greece, are colder. There are no closer relations than between Greeks and Albanians. But political relations are behind. For me, there is one person responsible, and that is Edi Rama. He seeks to keep relations in artificial tension without cause or reason, with a tendency to serve his local agenda. And this is catastrophic. These relations are important for development in the entire region. Foreign policy is not exercised with improvisations," said Dule.

He further spoke about the process of Albania's integration into the EU, saying that Rama and the ministers held events to open negotiations, while the negotiations were opened after several years. He says that the same thing is happening now, stating that "they have ridden the integration 'horse' backwards."

"It is a very valuable time in the integration process, but we remember that IBAR is not approved. These people hide their heads, thinking that others are not seeing them. The world works differently. If we fail to recognize and work in accordance with this reality, unfortunately we will miss the next train. Don't forget, we have done the undone, we have decorated ourselves. Rama and the ministers held events to open negotiations, while negotiations opened after several years. This is what is happening now. They have ridden the 'horse' of integration backwards", he said./ CNA
